About Our Company
ZIA Spices is a food processing & beverage company focused on the production of a wide range of spices for cooking. We partner with Mercy Corps and Feed the Future, Nigeria Rural Resilience Activities to increase the availability and use of improved processed foods through post-harvest processing of cowpea, peanut & natural herbs produced by SMEs in Northeastern Nigeria.

Projects
Capacity Building on Food Processing in Gombe and Borno states, Nigeria
We successfully trained a total of 1609 participants, distributed across 3 value chains. This included 460 participants in Cowpea processing, 659 in Groundnut processing and 490 in Spice production. Notably, 95.34% of the participants were women, 38.28% were youth under 30, and 8.39%were male.
Nutritional Campaign to Over 12,000 Women of Childbearing Age, Others
Zia Spices, in partnership with the RRA Feed the Future program by Mercy Corps, funded by USAID, has successfully conducted a comprehensive nutrition campaign aimed at improving the health of over 12,000 women of childbearing age and their families in northeastern Nigeria.
Over 1000 Women Empowered to Start Home Gardening
Zia Spices is proud to have empowered over 1,000 women with vegetable seedlings to start their own backyard home gardens! This initiative, in partnership with Feed the Future under the Rural Resilience Activity with Mercy Corps, funded by USAID, aims to boost food security and create wealth for our beneficiaries.
